“The Debate” on France 24 concentrated on whether or not Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has lost support because of the recent street demonstrators, how likely the closure of some social media outlets and how Turkey is doing on its way to the European Union (EU).
SETA Political Researcher Galip Dalay joining the program on March 14 2014, said that there is no big drop of support for Erdoğan and his party due to the tension.
As for locking the doors of YouTube and Facebook in Turkey, Dalay went on to say that Erdoğan assured that the government has no intention to close them.
