After completing his undergraduate in History at İstanbul University he received his MA from the same university in 2013. Currently he is a PhD student in International Relations at Sakarya University. His main research interests are Balkan History and Politics. He has published articles on regional politics. He took part in several projects including field studies on Balkans. He knows English, Ottoman Turkish and Balkan languages.
