Metin Özkan

Metin Özkan obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dumlupınar University and later earned a doctorate at Gazi University for his thesis on "Political Representation in the Modern Democratic State". From 2018 to 2021, he worked as the deputy editor of the Journal of Amme İdaresi and contributed to the editorial board of various books published for the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. He has also authored two books: "The Mask of Sovereignty" in 2020 and "The Accumulation of a Century in Turkey and the World: 1930-1939", to be published in 2023. Dr. Özkan has several national and international book chapters and articles to his credit. He specializes in political institutions, democracy theory, and the history of political thought and is currently a faculty member at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration.
