İbrahim Alboğa graduated from Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) with a double major in Political Science and Ethnology in 2017. He was accepted to the Master program of Political Theory at the same university. He spent a semester at the Bern University in Switzerland and focused on climate and water policy and on global political economy. In 2019 he received his MA after completing his master’s thesis which adressed the European asylum and refugee policy with a cosmopolitan approach and in the framework of the narrative of European values. His main research focuses are German identity and foreign policy, German security and development policy and European migration and security policy. Currently, Alboğa is working as a Research Assistant at SETA Berlin.
