Hüseyin Arslan

Hüseyin Arslan graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 2017. In 2019, he successfully defended his master's degree at Istanbul University with his thesis titled "Laicism Understandi̇ng of Milli Görüş Movement" and in 2024, he successfully defended his Phd with his thesis titled "The Left's View of Religion in Türkiye between 1908-1974". Arslan is currently working as a research assistant at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He has a book titled "Milli Görüş Movement: Political and Social Transformations" published by Ilem Publications. Hüseyin Arslan is a researcher in the Political Science Directorate at SETA Foundation. His fields of study are: Turkish Political History, Milli Görüş Movement, Islamism, Secularism/Laicism, Left, Political Movements, Political Parties.
