Mert Hüseyin Akgün

Mert H. Akgün received his bachelor's degree in law from Ankara University Faculty of Law and his LL.M. in public law from Hacettepe University, with a thesis focusing on parliamentary oversight mechanisms. He is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation in public law at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. His research interests include systems of government, civil-military relations, constitutional developments, legal and judicial reforms, and international human rights law. His written analyses and opinion pieces have been featured on prominent platforms including Al Jazeera, TRT Arabi, Politics Today, and Daily Sabah.
