İsmail Kavaz

İsmail Kavaz graduated from Gazi University, Department of Econometrics in 2009. He received his MSc degree from University of Leicester in 2011. He earned his PhD degree at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, in 2018, with his dissertation titled “Modelling and Forecasting the Energy Demand for Turkey”. His field of research include energy politics, energy resources, efficiency and energy demand. Currently, he is working in the Directorate of Energy Research at SETA Foundation. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Economics at Bingöl University.
  • The analysis examines the National Energy and Mining Policy of Turkey along the lines of security of supply, indigenization, and foreseeable market. It concentrates on the goals and objectives of this policy.
