Gizem Akbaş

Akbaş completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Public Administration at Social Sciences University of Ankara in 2025. She is currently pursuing an MA in Political Science at the same university, where the program is conducted in English. Her primary academic interests include nationalism studies, diaspora politics, and identity politics. Focusing her academic research on comparative politics and nationalism, Akbaş has published an article in a peer-reviewed journal and contributed chapters to edited volumes. She currently serves as Executive Assistant at the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA).
