Abdül Samet Çelikçi

Abdül Samet Çelikçi graduated from Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2009. He completed his master's degree in 2013 at Istanbul University with a thesis titled "Reproduction of Kemalism as 'Ulusalcılık': The Case of 75th Anniversary Ceremonies of Turkish Republic." He defended his doctoral dissertation, titled "The approach of Islamism to the Kurdish Question in Turkey (1980-2002)", which he prepared at Istanbul University, in 2020. Çelikçi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Karabük University. Abdül Samet Çelikçi is a researcher in the Political Science Directorate at SETA Foundation. He has two books titled "Islamism and the Kurdish Question in Turkey" and "The Reproduction of Official Ideology in Turkey: The 75th Anniversary Celebrations of the Turkish Republic."
