SETA Brussels is organising a panel on Turkey’s Eastern Mediterranean Policy in cooperation with SAM, the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The panel will take place on 5th of February 2020 from 18.00 to 20.00 o’clock at the SETA Brussels office, Avenue des Arts 27, 1040 Bruxelles – 3rd floor.

The panel will draw attention to the current developments regarding the Republic of Turkey’s East Mediterranean policy, the bilateral agreements between Turkey and Libya on the new maritime boundary line and security and military cooperation. In this frame the EU, Turkey-Greece relations will be discussed in detail.

Ufuk Ulutaş, the chairman of Strategic Research Center will lead the panel. Among the panelists are Çağatay Erciyes, Director General for Bilateral Political and Maritime-Aviation-Border Affairs, Hasan Basri Yalçın, Director of Strategic Studies at SETA Foundation, the NTV Brussels representative Güldener Sonumut and Dries Lesage from the Ghent Univesity.
