Graduated from Political Science and International Relations department of Başkent University in 2009 with honors, Sami Orçun Ersay received his M.A. from Political Science and Public Management department of Hacettepe University upon completion of his M.A. thesis titled “Nizam-ı Âlem movement in Turkish political life”. He was awarded scholarship by the Atatürk Cultural Centre. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Political Science department at Galatasaray University. His research interests include political ideologies, political identities, Turkish political life and institutions.
