ISIL’s Main Aim is to Create Instability in Turkey

Taking in consideration the geographical position of Turkey and the number of refugees that reside in Turkey, security faces many difficulties, but this does not undermine the hard work of the government.

Few days ago Turkey was shocked from a double attack in Ankara where 97 people were dead and many others were injured. Still it is not clear who are responsible about it; however, the government has pointed towards the terrorist organization ISIL.

Commenting on this, Enes Bayraklı stated that ISIL’s main aim is to create instability in Turkey the same way they did in Syria.  Chaos in Syria, Turkey and elsewhere in the region may be translated in more power for ISIS. Secondly, ISIL claims that they are enemy of AK Party for this reason they want to have an impact on the elections’ outcome.

Bayraklı also emphasized the fact that elections were never cancelled in Turkey and this is not a possibility for this time. Moreover he added that there is expected a high participation in the November 1 elections.

Opposition in Turkey has blamed the government and President Erdoğan claiming that there was a flaw in the security; however, Enes Bayraklı stated that such events have occurred in many other western states. And it should not be ignored the fact that the government has stopped many attacks previously. By taking in consideration the geographical position of Turkey and the number of refugees that reside in Turkey, security faces many difficulties, but this does not undermine the hard work of the government.

Commenting on the supporting statement that Putin made after the attack in Ankara, Byraklı claimed that Putin is trying to gain advantage but this does not hide the fact that Putin is supporting the Assad regime and PYD (a terrorist organization associated with PKK which is killing civilians and soldiers in Turkey ) resulting like this in a stronger ISIL.
