SETA European Research Directorate is organizing a panel about the 2017 Austrian elections, which are due to take place in shade of the refugee crisis, rise of the far-right and Islamophobic discourses. What will be the result of the elections? What are post-election scenarios? How does the rise of the far-right effect the elections? What kind of policies do the political parties have for Muslims living in Austria? The answer to all these questions will be discussed in this panel.

Enes Bayraklı will be the moderator of the panel and speakers are Oktay Taftalı from İstanbul Medeniyet University, Kazım Keskin from SETA and Farid Hafez from Georgetown University.
