The Future of US-Turkey Relations, organized by the SETA Foundation’s Strategic Studies department will be held on October 21.

Despite the fact that bilateral relations between Turkey and the United States have been labelled a “strategic partnership,” Turkish-American relations have been marked by various crises since the second term of the Obama administration. FETÖ, The Syrian Civil War, US military support to the PYD in Syria, the S-400 missile agreement signed between Turkey and Russia, and the recent visa crisis have been the major areas of crisis between the two countries.

Given the importance of Turkish-American relations, the panel will discuss the following questions: What are the underlying reasons for the visa crisis? What are the areas of uncertainty between the two countries for the upcoming years? What are the future prospects for Turkey and the United States?

The SETA Foundation cordially invites you to a discussion on the future of Turkish-American relations.

P.S. The panel will be held in Turkish. There will be simultaneous interpretation from Turkish to English.
