Since 1950s, the relationship between Turkey and the United States has been described by complexity and flux. Current state of relations between both countries are more under strain than in recent years. On November 19, 2019, SETA Foundation will organize a panel entitled “Turkey and the US: Redefining and Rebuilding the Relations”. The panel will provide a general review of the unwavering issues that should be focused on if Turkey-the U.S. relations are to move beyond current roadblocks. Particularly, the panel aims to address the issues such as the future of the relations after President Erdogan’s visit to the White House at last week; the delivery of Russian S-400 missile defense system, the US support on the YPG and the future of Syrian crisis. We look forward to welcoming you.

P.S. English-Turkish simultaneous translation will be provided.
