On 17th of April 2019, SETA and National University of Public Service will organize a panel titled “Turkey and Hungary in the Future of Europe” in Istanbul. The panel will draw attention to the past and future of Turkish-Hungarian relations, opportunities in bilateral relations, geopolitics of Hungary in its region, and the current course of relations between Hungary and the European Union.

The panel will be opened by the Consul General of Hungary in Istanbul Mr. Balázs Hendrich, who will deliver a keynote speech about the Turkish-Hungarian relations. Zeliha Eliaçık, Researcher at SETA European Studies, will moderate the panel. The panellists include Enes Bayraklı, the Coordinator of SETA Brussels Office, Zoltan Egeresi and András Hettyey, Members of Faculty at National University of Public Service.

English-Turkish simultaneous translation will be provided.
