Ever since its accession to the Alliance, NATO has been central to Turkey’s collective security and defense perceptions. Thus, as the SETA Security Studies department, we acknowledge the importance of strengthening NATO-Turkey relations in the current security environment troubled by a wide range of raging threats and complex issues today.
Cultivating Turkey’s NATO Alliance Alive: Evolving Relations and Diverging Priorities Workshop aims to provoke debate among the Turkish intellectuals and security practitioners on a wide range of matters that concern Turkey-NATO cooperation. Furthermore, it envisions to increase the understanding of the current state of the Turkey-NATO affairs from both NATO and Turkish perspectives.
