Turkey never presented itself a as a role model. But Turkey has resolved some of its issues only recently such as civil-military relations, the role of military in politics etc. Some of rights for the religious minorities, rights such as Kurdish education, Kurdish identity rights are still being discussed. It didn’t use to be discussed. So this is a working progress.
