Graduated from the Faculty of Theology of Uludağ University, Ramazan Yıldırım received his PhD from Ankara University. Appointed as Assoc. Prof. at Istanbul University, he is currently working as the editor-in-chief of Ruye Türkiyye published in Arabic by SETA Foundation. He authored the books entitled Hilafet Tartışmaları and Mutezilenin Kelamî Polemikleri. He has been working on religion-state relations, Ilm al-Kalam and modern Islamist movements.
In a period where the models of administration for the Islamic world are opened to discussion, the model of one of the rooted movements of the world, the Muslim Brotherhood, is not given an opportunity to be tested.
