International Conference on the Geopolitics of Energy

The conference brings together experts, academics, media representatives and bureaucrats on supply and demand side of conventional/unconventional and alternative energy security issue from Turkey and abroad including USA, Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Israel, Turkmenistan and Italy.

SETA Foundation, Yildiz Technical University Department of Political Science and International Relations, Center for Strategic Research of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM), University of Florence (Scuola di Scienze Politiche “Cesare Alfieri” Universita degli Studi di Firenze) and Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey will organize an international conference under the theme of “Geopolitics of Energy: What the Future will Bring?” on May 16th-18th in Istanbul. H.E. Taner Yıldız, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey will make keynote speech of the conference. The conference brings together experts, academics, media representatives and bureaucrats on supply and demand side of conventional/unconventional and alternative energy security issue from Turkey and abroad including USA, Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Israel, Turkmenistan and Italy.
