Soon after the coup-attempt of July 15, it became obvious that Gülen terrorist movement was behind these events. Enes Bayraklı stated that the Gülen movement is an existential threat to the Turkish state, society and democracy.
According to him, the movement is an extremely hypocritical religious movement which uses deception as the main method to infiltrate in the Turkish state institutions. Bayraklı also argued that organization’s main aim was to create a parallel state, a state within the state, and their long term goal was to take over the government. As soon as the Turkish government became aware of this threat, there were taken significant steps to hinder this terrorist organization in pursuing their goals.
