Turkey and Transatlantic Relations”, published by SETA and Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Transatlantic Relations aims to shed light on past, present, and future of Turkey-Transatlantic Relations, focusing on the impact of current developments in Turkish domestic and foreign policies. Turkey, with its new foreign policy, redefines its relations with its neighbors and major powers. This route presents Turkey with a number of challenges, uncertainties, and opportunities. The new Turkish foreign policy also requires a comprehensive analysis of the relations between Turkey and the transatlantic community. Given the rifts in transatlantic relations and the debates over the future of the liberal international order, this book addresses not only the problems but also possible remedies that could help to improve Turkey-Transatlantic relations.
