The most important outcome of the Astana Talks was the agreement to establish a de-escalation zone in Idlib. Accordingly, as guarantors, Turkey, Iran, and Russia took a step for this purpose. In this vein, with the support of Russia, Turkey began a reconnaissance operation in Idlib last Sunday.

What is the significance of Idlib for Turkey? What are the aims and scope of this operation? What are the military risks? Is it possible to widen and deepen the area of operation to cover Afrin? All these questions and more will be discussed during the panel.

The SETA Foundation cordially invites you to a discussion on Idlib Operation Panel.

P.S. The panel will be held in Turkish. There will be simultaneous interpretation into English.
